Linda Sperruzzi
Linda Sperruzzi is a distinguished acrylic artist whose career spans over three decades in fine arts, illustration, writing, and education. Originally from Long Island, New York, Linda specialized in portrait work and murals for more than 25 years. She established her own art studio, The Painted Canvas, in Wading River, where she taught students of all ages for nine years. Inspired by her students, she authored and illustrated her debut children's book, Alli The Artist: The Spring Art Contest, accompanied by a collectible doll and educational lesson.
In response to the challenges of the pandemic, Linda relocated to the enchanting city of St. Augustine, where the local beauty and rich history reignited her artistic spirit. Transitioning from realism to modern impressionism, she developed a significant focus on large-scale landscapes and architecture. Her latest collection, "Pieces of Hope," explores poignant themes inspired by Christian Bible passages and contemporary global issues, with a portion of proceeds benefiting First Coast Women’s Services. Linda reflects her gratitude to God for the blessings in her life and for the enduring passion that drives her artistic journey.
